Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) Governor Eli M. Remolona, Jr. (third from right) leads the BSP delegation in discussions with the ASEAN+3 Macroeconomic Research Office (AMRO) during its consultation visit to the Philippines on 07 to 27 August 2026. The BSP noted AMRO’s assessment that the Philippine economy remains broadly resilient, supported by exports, remittances, adequate external buffers, and a sound banking system. The BSP and AMRO reaffirmed their commitment to continued collaboration in advancing macroeconomic and financial stability in the Philippines and the region.
